wie klingt der rhein und wie klingt die landschaft am rand des großen stromes? was sieht man und was hört man in der rheinlandschaft in und um bonn? geht das akustische und das visuelle zusammen?
sonotopia 2013 präsentiert installationen, die architekturstudenten der alanus hochschule für kunst und gesellschaft und ihr dozent prof. willem-jan beeren in ihrem seminar mit anschließendem sommer-workshop unter leitung der bonner stadtklangkünstlerin christina kubisch entwickelt haben. dazu erkundeten die angehenden architektInnen mit mikrofonen und kameras ausgewählte örtlichkeiten am rhein und untersuchten die stadtlandschaft in bonn.
die studentInnen realisieren eine installative gruppenarbeit in der ehemaligen kirche »kreuzung an sankt helena« in bonn, die eine audiovisuelle landschaft in diesem kunst- und kulturraum gleichsam neu entstehen lässt.

what do the rhine river and the landscape at the shores of the strong current sound like? What does one see and hear within the rhine landscape in and around bonn? do the acoustic and the visual go together?
sonotopia 2013 presents installations developed by architecture students from the alanus university of arts and social sciences and their professor, willem-jan beeren, in their seminar and subsequent summer workshop accompanied by bonn city sound artist christina kubisch. this involved the architecture students exploring selected locations on the rhine using microphones and cameras and researching the city landscape in bonn.
the students have realized an installative group work in the former »kreuzung an sankt Helena« church in bonn which creates, so to speak, an audiovisual landscape in this artistic and cultural space.
