bonn hoeren ist seit dem jahr 2010 das große klangkunst-projekt der »beethovenstiftung für kunst und kultur der bundesstadt bonn«.  bonn hoeren steht in engem bezug zur stadt, ihren bürgern und besuchern, und deren alltäglichen innerstädtischen lebens- und arbeitsbereichen.
im april 2012 hat die beethovenstiftung nun den dritten bonner stadtklangkünstler berufen: andreas oldörp. er ist ein national und international erfolgreicher klangkünstler und einer der pioniere in der klangkunst, der mit natürlichen klängen im öffentlichen raum arbeitet.
im mittelpunkt der künstlerischen arbeit von  bonn hoeren 2012 steht klangkunst und architektur. untersucht wird die stadt und ihre öffentlichen räume unter dem aspekt der wechselseitigen charakterisierung von klang und raum. wie klingen raumarchitekturen in der stadt? können z.b. künstlerisch intervenierende klangarchitekturen unsere wahrnehmung von alltäglichen aufenthaltsräumen erweitern und diese in neue individuelle erlebnisorte verwandeln? solche und andere fragen werden vom neuen stadtklangkünstler in die stadt getragen, reflektiert und erlebbar gemacht –  bonn hoeren.

since 2010, the important sound art project of the »beethovenstiftung für kunst und kultur der bundesstadt bonn« has been  bonn hoeren. it is closely connected to the city, its citizens and visitors and their daily inner-city living and working environments.
in april 2012 the beethovenstiftung appointed the third bonn city sound artist: andreas oldörp. he is a successful sound artist both nationally and internationally and one of the pioneers in the field of sound art itself, working with natural sounds in the public arena.
the focus of  bonn hoeren 2012’s artistic work is the city and its architecture. the city and its public spaces are to be explored under the aspect of a mutual characterisation of sound and space. how do spatial architectures in the city sound? can, for example, artistically intervening sound architectures expand our perception of the spaces we spend our daily lives in and change them into new individual experiential sites? such and other questions will be brought to the city by the new city sound artist, reflected upon and made possible to experience –  bonn hoeren.
