b o n n  h o e r e n  ist ab dem jahr 2010 das neue klangkunst-projekt der »beethovenstiftung für kunst und kultur der bundesstadt bonn«. b o n n  h o e r e n  steht in engem bezug zur stadt, ihren bürgern und besuchern, und deren alltäglichen innerstädtischen lebens- und arbeitsbereichen. b o n n  h o e r e n  ist eine einladung, die stadt neu zu entdecken und anders wahrzunehmen, und nimmt bezug auf die geschichte und entwicklung, die geografische lage und die akustischen besonderheiten von bonn.
im zentrum des international einmaligen projektes steht die jährliche berufung eines stadtklangkünstlers. in 2010 ist das der österreichische klangkünstler sam auinger.

at the beginning of 2010, b o n n  h o e r e n, the new urban sound art project, was launched by the »beethovenstiftung für kunst und kultur der bundesstadt bonn«. b o n n  h o e r e n  is closely linked with the city, its visitors and citizens, and the inner-city places in which they conduct their daily lives. b o n n  h o e r e n  is an invitation to rediscover the city and experience it in new ways that take into account bonn’s history and evolution, its geographical position and its acoustic particularities.
at the centre of this internationally unique project is the annual appointment of a bonn city sound artist. in 2010, this position will be occupied by austrian sound artist sam auinger.
